Mark you calendars and plan on
coming out to hear us play at a new venue called Amore Sports Grill,
conveniently located just to the West of the 101 on the south side of
Bell Road. (8763 E. Bell Road, Scottsdale, 480-513-9555,
happening place with lots of excellent, Italian influenced food, a
fantastic selection of draft beers, an extensive wine list and on
Saturday nights, it's live music on their mini stage, just right for GedaLifE!

Chang's Rock & Roll Marathon, January 16th, 2011
We will be playing for the Marathon again this year and as soon as we
are assigned a stage we will get the word out to everyone. This is such
a great event supporting so many worthy causes. You can run in the full
or half marathon or you can just be lazy and come down and hand out at
the GedaLife stage. (TBA)
Please keep us in mind
for your next party or event. If you are a non-profit organization and
are looking for entertainment for a fund raiser, we are open to
donating our services depending upon the cause, the organization, the
venue location and our availability. Give us a buzz or drop us a line
and we'll talk about it.
GedaLifE! A dynamic (yet humble
and loveable) musical trio from Scottsdale, AZ, is made up of three guys who aren't
quite ready to quit their day jobs. We play rock, blues, folk, and even a little country (if
you twist our arms, or give us premium wine and beer...).
Who's
music
do you cover?
Anything is fair game; CSN&Y, The Who,
The Rolling Stones, The Eagles, Muddy Waters, Elton John, Traffic, Don McLean, The
Beatles, and newer stuff from bands like REM, Cracker, The Bare Naked Ladies, The Gin
Blossoms and KT Tunstall.
Who
are you guys?
Jeff
Chapman sings and plays just about any stringed instrument he can get his hands
on, be it guitar, mandolin, dulcimer, or banjo. He also plays a mean blues harp harmonica.
With a Dad who was a big band leader in the 40's, Jeff has music in his blood, and has
been entertaining for years.
Ted
Levie plays guitar and bass guitar, and also sings. Ted began playing publicly
in bars in Flagstaff as a solo act then later as a member of The Personal Pronouns. We
keep Ted in the band as long as he keeps pulling obscure songs out of his hat, and as long
as he keeps buying rounds of beer.
Chris Knudsen is a conga player
extraordinaire who comes from a family of Latin and jazz musicians. Chris
hears and creates an exciting syncopated rhythmic foundation for the tunes
on the GedaLifE play list and acts as our body guard on that very rare
occasion when overly aggressive fans go wild and try to mob us.
Is
GedaLifE a Trio?
We, Jeff, Ted,
and Chris are the heart and soul of the band and you can book us as a trio for a smaller, more intimate event
or, if you want to dance till dawn, we can bring along a drummer and a bass player
so you
can
rock till ya drop.
Where
can I see this
music phenomenon?
GedaLifE performs in public at resorts,
bars and coffee houses around the Valley, or for private engagements like backyard
parties, wedding receptions, company parties and special events.
How can I
book
you guys?
Book us direct by
emailing us below or by calling 480/483-8833. If you're serious, request a copy of our
demo CD, GedaGiG.
Remember, if you'd like
something a little bit off
the beaten path for your reception, party or
special event, GedaLifE!
